Nice job, Mr. Helmberger. This just again seems to point the gun at two "heads". The larger problem is the failure by Ms. Johnson to do her job! Where was she when JCI wad throwing numbers out? JCI got it wrong, but Ms. Johnson undoubtedly gave them incomplete budget and cost data. Garbage in....garbage out.
Where was Ms. Joy so through this entire process? What is she doing if not answering Board Member questions? Why hasn't she recommended cost saving administrative changes? The first should be to sell the district office and move into excess school building space. Why have the Superintendent and Board allowed Ms. Johnson to continue as Business Manager?
I call for her resignation. The bean counter must do a better job. Resign or be fired!
My only problem is that I have no say. I have taxation without representation. I am very frustrated to have to witness incompetency, which costs each of us taxpayers and will for many, many years.
How about a petition to the Board asking for answers, and resignation(s).
