Up to this point the preservationists haven't been able to prove anything. Their lack of proof during the scoping period caused the USFS to state there was No significant environmental impact noted. This in turn caused the original EIS to be shifted to a less in depth Environmental Assessment. Now during President Trumps rally last night he stated that the potential mineral withdrawal will be rescinded. None of what has taken place on the preservationists part has been predicated on any kind of proof that damage will occur, everything they have tried has been based on their constant doom & gloom because we say so formula. This formula has caused more damage to the tourist trade then mining probably ever will. There is a designed process for determining whether a mine should be built quit trying to disrupt the system because you don't like the outcome.
