Good article! You hit it on the head about Stauber. He and Navarro penned a letter stating that Trump saved the Range and got miners big raises and the mines got more jobs. People believed that. Shows you how gullible people can be. Most of us who have lived on the Range and worked in the mines know that can be further from the truth. Stauber keeps repeating that untruth knowing that his followers will believe him. He votes against worker's rights and then begs for the Union's endorsement. The Steelworkers didn't give him the endorsement as a whole however. He votes against the infrastructure bill even though he is pandering for the Trade Union's endorsement. I just hope like heck he doesn't get in again. We don't need his brand of Congressman in this District. He wants to fast track all Mining Permits like his buddy Trump. That's scary because of some basic things here. Environmental damage and legacy costs versus the benefits of short term mine life. Regardless of who owns the mine it is in the end, the legacy costs that will be met. Taxpayers should not be held accountable for clean up for any mining endeavor.
