Some good news today. Got a notice from the DNR stating that the shore line is in good shape with the plants and growth along the shore doing its job. It is best to leave the shoreline the way it is and no reason for me to install riprap and endure that expense. To sum it up removing what is left of the old pilings that are off shore does not mean a riprap wall should be installed. Once again nature knows best.
