Hujanen running a true grassroots effort

Posted

I don’t see why it’s a question for St. Louis County Commissioner.

I’m a wife and mother living with disabilities in St. Louis County District 4. Married to a man living with disabilities as well. We love our life here in this beautiful place and we want to see the area thrive and be successful just like we wish that for our own family.

I am not one for the big political hoopla and tactics. I don’t follow along with all of the rhetoric of seasoned politicians who have been trained in how to speak and how to garner votes with fancy techniques. I do, however, know a genuine human being when I see one, and know even better when I meet one.

There is an undertone of the very political push and shove going on here in this district and I just wanted to point it out, politely I might add. Have you ever read the definition of a “grass roots” campaign. I thought I knew what it meant, but I looked it up recently after reading about it in an article in regard to Christina Hujanen.

Word Origin

noun, (used with a singular or plural verb). Also, grass roots

1. the common or ordinary people, especially as contrasted with the leadership or elite of a political party, social organization, etc.; the rank and file.

I am in total understanding now of where I stand in this election. I’m voting for the candidate that is committed to the communities and dedicated to their progress. As I watch along as these two candidates race toward election day, I can already say it’s candidate Hujanen that gets my vote!

It is time for a change in local politics, and it begins with us, the voters! Get out and vote on Election Day!!! A vote for Hujanen is even better!!!
