Oh, how I’m going to miss Nancy Tubbs’ biweekly column. Since she is a friend, I know how much thought and research she put into her bright, humorous, timely pieces. I was always surprised at how she could take a possibly mundane topic and consider it from an unusual point of view, helping me to think differently and see into her social consciousness and her big heart. She was not afraid to comment on controversial issues, as well.
Lynn “Scarlet” O’Hara’s debut column was delightful. I look forward to reading her reflections on her everyday experiences.
At the same time, I will be feeling the absence of Nancy’s thought-provoking writing.
