FIELD TWP - The annual Yoots and Coots basketball game will be played on Wednesday, May 7 at the North Woods High School gymnasium. The game will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Admission to the game is a free-will offering. All admission proceeds will benefit the Cook Community/Youth Center building fund.

Prior to the game, the North Woods Travelers (traveling in June to Washington, D.C., and New York) will be holding a rummage sale in the school’s commons area.The sale runs from 3:30-7 p.m.

At the rummage sale, you will find clothing of all sizes, toys, books, household, Burton youth snow board and boots (size 7), girls downhill skis and boots, bike trailer (pull behind), (2) Nintendo DS, Leapsters, drum set, Littlest Pet Shop sets and much more miscellaneous items.

Also for sale are Lions Club coupon books, greeting cards and flower bulbs (order). Your treasure awaits you.

Are you tired and hungry from a full days work? Are you tired from all the rummaging? Sit back, relax and let the North Woods Travelers cook you dinner. From 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Travelers will be hosting a spaghetti dinner at the North Woods School. The cost is $8 per adult and $5 per student (ages 5-12). Children under age five can eat for free.

May 7 will be a very exciting day. t’s your one-stop shop. Purchase your very own treasures, eat a delicious meal and cap off the night with an exciting game of basketball.
