Some Rumble StripEs going away!

You may have noticed that the County public works folks have been filling the hated Rumble StripEs on County Road No. 77 in Greenwood Township. The good news is that the residents near the road from Everett Bay Road to the intersection of County Roads 115 and 77 should have much less noise. The bad news is that the County has no current plans to fill the darn StripEs from Everett Bay Rd. to the Y-Store, nor anywhere along C.R. 115 heading to Cook.

Those of you who live along the remaining Rumble StripEs may wish to follow up with the County, assuming the noise and the added head on collision danger spur you to action.

I would like to publicly thank Gene Baland and Tom Aro, Greenwood Township Board Members, for their efforts in pushing for the County's corrective work.
