America is losing any claim to decency

I’d like to add a little bit to the Timberjay’s great coverage of President Trump’s fascist regime.
This is the sixtieth anniversary of my 1965 service in Vietnam. It’s not only that innocent civilians died then because of our massive war machine. Innocent citizens of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia are still dying today because of the landmines and other unexploded ordnance we left behind.
I can’t deny my guilt for being part of that war machine but there was some small comfort in the fact that the U.S. Agency for International Development was helping clean up those landmines. Now President Trump has ended even that small gesture of penance by gutting USAID.
Whether it’s unvaccinated children in America or babies poisoned with Agent Orange in Southeast Asia, America is losing any claim to decency. We are being governed by evil people
