The Ely Timberwolves topped the South Ridge Panthers on Thursday, going undefeated in the double elimination tournament and claiming the Section 7A crown for the second time in three years.
Ely won 3-0 on the strength of yet another impressive pitching performance by ace Pat Huisman. Watch for full details in next week's print edition of the Timberjay.
