Grizzlies top Chisholm in regular season finale

CHISHOLM— For a young team playing 11-man football for the first time, North Woods has made real progress, and it showed in their regular season finale as they topped Chisholm 26-8 here on Wednesday night.

The win improves the Grizzlies record to 3-5 as they head into the playoffs next week. And two of the team’s losses came in games that they otherwise dominated— which means with a break here or there, the Grizzlies could easily be 5-3 in their debut at the 11-man level.

The Grizzlies will host Carlton/Wrenshall on Tuesday in the opening round of the Section 7A tournament.
