Ludlows tapped for sales of harbor town homes

TOWER— Real estate broker and Lake Vermilion resort owner Mark Ludlow said he’s been closely following the ups and downs of the harbor project here for more than a decade. And now, he’ll be playing an important role in finally turning the city’s hopes and vision into reality.

Developers Orlyn Kringstad and Jeremy Schoenfelder, of Tower Vision 2025, have tapped Mark and Sally Ludlow, who own and operate BIC Realty, to handle marketing and sales for the first of what they expect will be several phases of development in and around the harbor and East Two riverfront.

“I think it’s wonderful,” said Mark Ludlow, of the opportunity. “I’ve been excited about that project for fifteen years and now I think it’s finally going to happen. And Jeremy and Orlyn have been very forthright from the start.”

The Ludlows will be involved in the marketing and sales of the 20 town home units that Tower Vision 2025 is currently working on. The company already has several signed letters of intent and a number of other strong prospects who have been waiting for final details, such as homeowner association documents and final drawings, before committing further. Mark said he expects all those details to be finalized within the next couple weeks, which will allow BIC Realty to begin converting letters of intent to actual purchase agreements.

The Ludlows are moving quickly with the marketing effort and hope to have a sizable billboard in place on the west end of the harbor within days. They are also planning a small information kiosk at the east end of the harbor where interested people can pick up brochures and other information about the town homes. “I’ve had a number of people talk to me about it,” said Mark. “Most are just waiting for more information at this point.”

Mark sees the whole development as a potential turning point for Tower. “This is going to make Tower truly a city on the lake. It could be another Nisswa and I couldn’t be more pleased with what this could mean for the city.”

He added that the recent announcement of a purchase agreement for the marina is another key development, which fits nicely with the overall goals set by Tower Vision. “Jeremy and Orlyn really have a vision for Tower. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it,” he said.
