It's hard to convince people of facts if they continue to hear politicians spreading disinformation. This disinformation is rooted in one thing. Maintaining power. The popular belief is that a President controls the price of gas. Another belief is "only I can fix this". It seems to me the vast majority of people will believe these two lies if you keep pounding it into people's heads. "Our way of life" is also another in a series of soundbites offered up by politicians as a way of telling people if you vote for me "they" won't take away that way of life. In my opinion, no one is taking that away from me! I'm just stubborn enough to know that and smart enough to know when I've been handed a load of you know what!
