Keep in mind that Pete Stauber doesn't get his facts straight. He plays on the fears of people like his Republican colleagues do. He's continuously angling for remaining in office. He and Pete Navarro penned a letter to the Duluth News Tribune stating that Trump opened up the Range in 2016 after it was closed down! We all know that the Range wasn't closed down and, Trump didn't take the oath of office until January 2017. We all know a President doesn't have that authority to do that anyway but, Pete's constituents who voted for him gobbled that up just like they are doing now with this new legislation that he's trying to push. Stauber never retracted that statement he and Navarro made in that letter even after I wrote to him asking him to pony up to that.
