Excellent Article. Your community is so lucky to have you - who is willing to speak up, step out and expose this for what it is. We, too, are being taken for a long, painful and expensive ride in Duluth - which has divided our community, created distrust, forced families from neighborhoods which used to have schools to schools in neighboring communities just to get out of the Duluth School District - Many opportunities lost for students, extra transportation issues for parents, loss of jobs for teachers, and plenty of debt for an already struggling community. Our District, with JCI has traded new buildings for students - citizens have spent tens of thousands trying to have a voice, but your article is correct, few have the amount of money it takes to fight big business, or big government. Leaves the citizens with very little voice.
