Get your summer festival and local history fix all in one place at this year’s Depot Days Festival in Tower. While the festival is held the same weekend as Ely’s busy Blueberry/Art Festival, it is not trying to compete– it has a small-town atmosphere all its own.

The three-day festival, sponsored by the Tower-Soudan Historical Society, runs Friday through Sunday, July 29-31, at the Tower Depot area.

The festival features live music, crafters and fair food vendors. And since it is sponsored by the local historical society, you are sure to learn some local history when you stop by.

Good Ol’ Days will be selling burgers, as well as offering a beer garden. They will also set up their inflatable slide, for non-stop and free fun for children.

Festival hours are Friday from noon – 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Local entertainment features Tower-Soudan talent plus area favorites:
