REGIONAL — The Northeast Range/Ely Nighthawks faced a deep field at the nine-team Hibbing Invitational last Thursday, coming away with an eighth-place team finish but a handful of standout swims.
Senior Via DeBeltz delivered the top individual performances, taking fourth in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:14.07 and sixth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:19.33.
The Nighthawks also saw their 200-yard freestyle relay team of Jorden Borchert, Tuuli Koivisto, DeBeltz, and Alyssa Ice touch sixth in 1:58.45.
