GREENWOOD TWP- The Greenwood Community Recreation Board’s first annual recreation day and potluck picnic brought as many as 200 area residents and visitors to the recreation areas at the town hall grounds. There was a potluck picnic plus plenty of action on the pickleball, tennis, and bocce ball courts.
The event was also a fundraiser for the committee, which is currently raising funds to resurface the tennis courts and do some additional work around the new pickleball courts.
Winners of the four raffles were: Blackstone Grill: Tracey Anderson; Kayak: Jen McDonough; Wheelbarrow of Booze: Patti Frisch; and Pizza Oven: Becky Ribich.
