COLERAINE- The North Woods boys basketball team suffered another loss last Friday when they were upended by Class 7AA Greenway 75-60 on the road in Coleraine.
The Raiders took control of the game in the first half, leading the Grizzlies by 12 at the break, 37-25. North Woods fared better in the second half but didn’t have the firepower to make up any ground against the Raiders, who were led by 6’9” center Stephen McGee’s game-high 25 points.
Louie Panichi led the Grizzlies in scoring with 16 points. Talen Jarshaw added 13.
The Grizzlies, now 8-10 on the season, were scheduled to be back on their home court on Friday against Littlefork-Big Falls before a Tuesday road trip to International Falls.
