The skies were blue, temperature chilly, not cold, and the track smooth and fast for the Crane Lake Challenge staged by the Straight Line Speed Association on Saturday. There were numerous new records set, but the event is always as much about the fun of going fast and the variety of snowmobiles and riders that are there.as it is setting records. Though records are nice, too. Timberjay photographer David Colburn was there to capture some of the action.
