Trump mismanagement rises to new heights

Posted

The use of insecure communications to discuss and plan a highly sensitive military operation, like the recent raid on Houthi rebels, is gross mismanagement of national security at the highest levels, one that reeks of amateur arrogance.
This makes Hillary’s email scandal look minor by comparison. A quick check on the Department of Defense website will show you that the use of the app “Signal Messenger” is forbidden, with no exceptions. The fact that the plan was accidentally leaked to journalists is the icing on the incompetency cake.
Thank god, no American airmen were hurt, but what about next time?
It’s an open example of the ignorance people in Trump’s administration have as to how government works. They are smart enough to know where the levers are but they don’t know what will happen when they pull them. Like chimps pecking away at a typewriter expecting to write a great novel. What will the chimps do next?
And, of course, Donald Trump claims to know nothing about it. And this is Congressman Pete Stauber’s guiding star? A man willfully ignorant of the world unfolding around him.
Come home, Pete, and talk to your constituents.
