A Cook man driving in the wrong lane on Highway 53 suffered injuries when his car hit a snowplow.
The accident occurred the evening of Oct. 20, when Curtis Dehn, 44, driving a 2003 Acura TL south in the wrong lane on the divided highway, hit a MnDOT plow truck traveling north in the northbound lane. The accident occurred just south of Cook in Owens Township.
Dehn was taken to the Cook Hospital with non-threatening injuries. The accident report said alcohol was involved in the accident.
The road conditions were snowy with ice.
Zachary Cheney, age 36, of Angora, was the driver of the snowplow, and was not injured in the accident.
