ELY—The North American Bear Center will welcome two new residents this coming September, with the introduction of two cubs to the center’s enclosure. “We are eager, excited, and hopeful for the future of these cubs and their new home at the North American Bear Center,” stated the center in a press statement announcing their pending arrival.
These cubs come all the way from Alaska, and like the adult ambassador bears already living at the center, they are unable to return to nature. Orphaned and far too young to survive on their own, they are now in need of a forever home.
The center will be welcoming the bears sometime in September, and staff there promise to keep the public updated on their health, well-being, and integration into the NABC family.
