TOWER-BREITUNG - The results are in! Nearly 200 community members completed the Tower Breitung Comprehensive Plan survey and shared their thoughts about the future of the area.  Residents, business owners, seasonal residents, and others connected to Tower or Breitung Township are invited to attend either or both of two upcoming public events:
• Breitung Township Pop-Up Event (New Location) on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 4 to 6 p.m.
This event will be held in conjunction with Big Truck Night at Soudan Park, 10 Church Street, Soudan
• Tower Community Open House on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.  at the Herb Lamppa Civic Center, 402 Pine Street, Tower
At the Breitung Township event, the Planning Committee and ARDC planners will host a pop-up table during Big Truck Night. Stop by to review survey highlights, ask questions, and share ideas while enjoying the community event.
The Tower event will be an open house at the Herb Lamppa Civic Center. A brief presentation of the survey results will be offered, and attendees may stop by anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. and stay for as long as they would like.
Both events offer opportunities to review the survey results and share ideas with the Tower Breitung Planning Committee and planners from the Arrowhead Regional Development  Commission (ARDC). Community input will help guide the Comprehensive Plan and establish a  shared vision for:
natural resources and hazards, community resources and assets, community development and housing, economic development, public facilities and infrastructure, future development patterns, and parks and recreation.
People with a connection to the Tower and Breitung Township area are invited to attend either or  both events. Your ideas will help shape community priorities and guide local decisions.
