You raise a valid point, but the difference now is that Trump has 3+years of history as the President and a lot of Americans (Democrats, Republicans, and Independents) don’t like what they see. I’m an Independent, a Veteran, a “once a Ranger always a Ranger”, and a retired scientist after a 40-plus year career. John Adams and the Founders feared one of the great risks to democracy is a two party system. It’s playing out right now on the pages of the Timberjay, throughout the Nation, and big time in DC. In my opinion, democracy is on life support right now. Get the paddles. Clear!!! We’ll see if it survives going forward.
