At the end of our 2-hour clean up, we needed a wagon to carry the boys back to the town hall for lunch.

Wearing their orange vests, members of Cub Scout Pack 165 set out to help clean up the Greenwood Township roadsides. This is the Townships 20th Annual Garbash Day..."GAR" meaning garbage and "BASH" meaning fun. Pack members raced along Highways 77 and 115 hoping to make a difference in the community by picking up every scrap of trash they could find. The Pack, along with family and friends, spent 2 hours combing through the roadsides to fill their bags with trash. For their efforts, the Pack (and friends) were awarded a gift certificate from Poor Gary's Pizza. The boys also enjoyed a hot lunch and donuts after the event.
