Cub Scout Pack 165 & Local Girl Scouts met at Golden Horizons Assisted Living Center on July 20 to do some landscaping and gardening to improve the view for the residents.
The Scouts, along with family and friends, cleaned up sticks and branches, piled up small rocks, built some flower beds and planted hosta and iris plants.
After working in the heat, the staff at Golden Horizons treated the Scouts to ice cream treats and Kool-aid.
Cub Scout den leader, Char Oja, and Girl Scout leader, Dawn Frazee, encourage everyone to take some time to visit the residents at Golden Horizons Assisted Living Center and check out the "new view".
