Our former neighbor sent us the article from the Minnesota Star Tribune regarding a significant book ban imposed by the school administration, as well as the firing of a librarian.
I find this action appalling from many perspectives and am quite surprised that this has not been reported by the Timberjay. It seems particularly relevant to the upcoming election where voters need to decide on special school funding referendums.
It is appalling that Northwoods School is now known as the largest book-banning school in the state of Minnesota! Voters need to make their voices heard - banning 80 books is NOT the action of solid educators, but more aligned with dictator-led countries — but then, the U.S. is currently “led” by a dictator wannabe.

Editor’s Note: The Timberjay was the first publication to report on the book banning and the firing of library assistant Quinn Krebsbach at the North Woods School, which we did a year ago this week. We have reported on it on three separate occasions to date, including in last week’s edition.
